The Venue
The Venue is Arch 21 on Valentia Place, Brixton
It's the studio of an artist, Henry Gundry-White aka Baron Von Voltaire. Link below. Check his ouevres! He's had the studio in the Arch for many years now and it's a hive of creativity and industry. Always something going on and being made and people.
So, it's not a theatre space. It's on the ground floor and there is one small WC on the same floor. Which is charming. You will see.
The Bar
The bar will be open from 6.30pm and I will be there to welcome all guests as I am also the Usher.
Do arrive a bit early and get yourself a drink before you settle in as there is only Henry on the bar, and it takes a bit of time to get everyone watered and sat so we can go up on time at 7.30pm The show is 90 minutes long and it flies by I'm told. So, it comes down at 9pm (if everybody arrives on time) and the bar will be open after for revels.
Henry does a pretty amazing bar. Wine and Beer and Prosecco and some soft drinks, spirits, and cocktails. Negronis are very popular. Cheaper than the pub and you can pay by card, it's all very digital.
I'm glad to say that every time people have hung around after the show and had drinks and did much chatting in the wonderful atmosphere of the venue. Low lighting so everyone looks very beautiful.
